Baby Potato spicy gravy Recipe |

Cook Time : 20 - 25 min ;
Serves : 2 - 3.
Ingrediants :
- Potatoes - 6 - 8
- Onions - small 1 chopped
- Tomatoes - 1 cup chopped
- Green chillies - 1 or 2
- Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
- Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Cloves - 2
- Cinnamon - 1 inch
- Bay leaves - 1 leaf
- Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
- Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
- Red chili powder - 1 tsp
- Coriander powder - 1tsp
- Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
- Salt - 2 -3 tsp
- Coriander / Cilantro leaves - for garnish
- Oil - 2 -3 tsp
- Water - if required (1/2 cup)
- Boil & peel the potatoes. Prink them all over with a fork.
- Heat oil in a pan ,add Bay leaves, Cloves , Cinnamon and add Cumin seeds and saute for 1 - 2 minutes. .
- Then add Chopped Onions, green chillies and salt and saute till they get a golden brown colour.
- Then add chopped tomatoes and turmeric powder and stir for 4 or 5minutes.
- Then add ginger garlic paste and add ½ cup of water and cook them for 2 or 3 minutes. .
- Add red chili powder ,coriander powder and cumin powder and allow to cook for 1 or 2 minutes.
- Then add boiled baby potatoes to the mixture and mix until all the potatoes are coated properly in the gravy.Then add a little bit of water (½ cup),and mix itand cover. Let it cook for a 10 minutes in low heat.
- Then add a pinch of garam masala powder and cover it for one more minute.
- Garnish with freshly chopped green coriander leaves and serve with hot chapati, paratha,puri, pulav,rice etc .........
